Heads of Cyprus, Israel, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Croatia hold teleconference over COVID-19
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and another seven heads of government exchanged on Monday views via teleconference on measures to deal with COVID-19 outbreak, following an initiative by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Government Spokesperson Kyriacos Koushos has said.
During the meeting proposals were submitted such as disinfecting airports and exchanging information for the effectiveness of measures.
In a written statement, Koushos says President Anastasiades took part at 1100 hours local time (0900 GMT) at a teleconference with the heads of government of Israel, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania during which the coronavirus outbreak was discussed.
