Labour and Welfare Ministry extends for 15 more days measures to protect vulnerable groups from COVID-19
Cyprus Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance Ministry has announced the extension of measures with a view to protect vulnerable groups of the population in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry as of Saturday March 21 and for the next 15 days the Care Homes for Elderly and Disabled People as well as Structures for the 24-hour care of disabled people, both public and private, will not be open for visits, in the framework of the measures to address the coronavirus and for the protection of elderly people and other vulnerable groups.
As it is noted carers will continue to take all necessary precautionary measures as anounced by the Health Ministry.
