Registration of vehicles up 5.1% in January-February 2020
In January-February 2020, the total registrations of motor vehicles increased by 5.1% to 7,842, from 7,463 in January-February 2019.
The registrations of passenger saloon cars increased by 2.7% to 6,309, from 6,144 in January-February 2019.
In January 2020, 3,352 saloon cars were registered compared to 3,257 in the corresponding month of 2019, while in February 2020, 2,957 were registered compared to 2,887 in the corresponding month of 2019.
For January, the increase in new vehicle registrations was 19.3% and in February 16%. Used car registrations fell by 4.6% in January and by 3.6% in February.
