EU FMs have expressed concern over Turkey`s activity in the Eastern Mediterranean, Borrell says
EU27 Foreign Affairns Ministers, who met on Wednesday by teleconference, expressed concern over Turkey`s activity in the Eastern Mediterranean and reitterated their full solidarity with Cyprus, according to the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
Invited to say if the EU27 leaders will touch upon the issue on Thursday during the EU Summit, the High Representative stated: "I don`t think tomorrow the European Council will be discussing that, the European Council will be fully devoted to the economic answer to the coronavirus crisis".
"On Turkey, in light of the most recent actions of Turkey related to drilling in the Eastern Mediterranean we reiterated our unwaivering solidarity and support with Cyprus and Greece.
