Police report 64 drivers and pedestrians for violating restrictive measures

Police have reported 64 drivers and pedestrians throughout Cyprus in the last 12 hours for violating restrictive measures in place to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. 
 
A Police Spokesperson told CNA that the reports resulted following 4,177 checks, from 6pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.
 
In Nicosia, Police checked 1,181 drivers and pedestrians and reported 8 of them, in Limassol out of 1,527 checks 33 were reported, in Larnaca 554 were checked and 5 were reported, in Paphos out of 154 checks 8 were reported, in Famagusta out of 378 checks 8 violations were reported and in Morphou out of 148 one violation was reported.
