Cyprus FM congratulates newly appointed Israeli FM Ashkenazi
Cyprus Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides, in a telephone conversation with Israel’s FM, Gabi Ashkenazi on Monday, congratulated him for his new duties.
A Foreign Ministry press release said that Gabi undertakes his new post at a crucial time for regional and international developments.
During the telephone conversation at the initiative of Ashkenazi, the two ministers exchanged views on handing the COVID-19 pandemic in the two countries, the EU-Israel relations and reviewed the strategically important relations between the two countries and prospects to enhance them in fields of mutual interest.
