Foreign Ministry organizes online concert for those stranded abroad during the pandemic
The orchestra of Pavlos Michaelides will give an online concert on Saturday, at 19.00 local time (16.00 UTC), featuring distinguished artists from Cyprus.
The concert is organized at the initiative of the Foreign Ministry and according to a relevant announcement, it is addressed to more than 20,000 Cypriots and other nationals residing legally in Cyprus, who were stranded abroad since the start of the pandemic. The concert will be livestreamed through the Ministry’s connect2cy platform.
All users registered at the platform will be able to view the concert through their account, including those who returned to Cyprus.
This is the first from a series of events to be organized as part of the Foreign Ministry’s “Bridge of Hope” initiative for people away from their homes.
