Cyprus Foreign Minister discusses Libya with Putin’s Special envoy
Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides discussed about Libya, on Tuesday, with Mikhail Bogdanov, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation and Special Presidential envoy for the Middle East and Africa.
An announcement by the Russian Foreign Ministry says that on June 2, Christodoulides and Bogdanov spoke on the phone, at the initiative of the Cypriot side.
During their conversation, the two men had an in-depth exchange of views about the whole range of concerns regarding the settlement of the Libyan crisis, in light of the results of the Berlin Conference, endorsed in Security Council resolution 2510, the announcement concludes.
