Industrial turnover increases 2% in March
The Industrial Turnover Index for March 2020, the month during which COVID-19 containment measures were introduced in Cyprus, reached 127,6 units (base 2015=100), recording an increase of 2,0% compared to March 2019.
According to data released Monday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus, for the period January – March 2020, the index showed an increase of 4,1%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
For manufacturing, the index for March 2020 reached 130,6 units, recording an increase of 2,1% compared to March 2019.
