Josep Borrell to discuss Turkish illegal activites and EU-Turkey relations with Cypriot officials on June 25 and 26
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, will hold meetings with Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades, Foreign Minister, Nikos Christodoulides, and Defence Minister, Savvas Angelides, during the visit he will pay to Cyprus on June 25 and 26, CNA has learned.
Turkey’s illegal activities in Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone and EU-Turkish relations are expected to be the focus of Borrell’s discussions with the Cypriot officials, in view of the EU Foreign Affairs Council that will take place on July 13th .
Borrell will have a tete-a-tete meeting with Christodoulides to be followed by extended talks between delegations of the two sides and statements to the press.
