Close cooperation to face threats a given, Cyprus DefMin says after conversation with Greek counterpart
Cyprus` new Defence Minister Charalambos Petrides has had a telephone conversation with his Greek counterpart Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos on Wednesday, noting that close cooperation is a given in order to face every threat.
In a message on Twiter Petrides thanked Panagiotopoulos "for a warm greeting in our first communication."
"National unity, close cooperation and mutual support is a given in order to face every threat," he added.
