EU’s activities lead to the perception that the Union believes that Turkey’s provocations in the Eastern Mediterranean have reached a breaking point and ‘enough is enough’, President Nicos Anastasiades said.
The President was invited by the press on Thursday to comment on the fact that Cyprus has asked specific actions by the EU towards Turkey. He was also asked if sanctions will be imposed and said that all the necessary steps and diplomatic actions are being taken, adding that on Monday the EU Foreign Council will convene on the matter to be followed possibly by others.
