Greece welcomes the ratification of the EastMed Agreement by Cyprus and Israeli Houses of Representatives
In a statement to Cyprus News Agency, Greek Minister of Environment and Energy Kostis Hatzidakis welcomed the ratification of the Intergovernmental Agreement for the construction of the EastMed natural gas pipeline by the House of Representatives of Cyprus and Israel.
“We are welcoming the ratification by the Houses of Representatives of Cyprus and Israel of the Intergovernmental Agreement, which was signed in Zappeion and was voted by the Greek Parliament with a broad majority, in mid-May. The agreement is now legally binding for the three signatory states”, Hatzidakis told CNA.
