We do not want the militarization of Cyprus in any way, Government Spokesperson says
Cyprus problem should be solved through negotiations, Cyprus` Government Spokesperson Kyriacos Kousios said on Tuesday, noting at the same time that the government does not want the militarization of Cyprus in any way.
In his statements after the meeting of the leaders of political parties held at the Presidential Palace under the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades, Kousios said that the meeting was held in an excellent atmosphere. The President, he added, briefed the party leaders in detail about his meetings with the UN Secretary General`s Special Representative in Cyprus, Elizabeth Spehar, the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, the European Council Summit and his discussions with the President of France Emanuel Macron.
