In line with protocols the handling of 11 coronavirus cases at immigrant reception center, Interior Minister says
Interior Minister Nicos Nouris said on Friday that there is concern after the detection of 11 coronavirus cases at the Pournara immigrant reception center, noting however that the Ministry is handling the cases in line with the relevant health protocols.
Replying to a relevant question, after a Cabinet meeting at the presidential summer residence, in Troodos mountains, Nouris said that the affected persons are Syrian migrants who arrived from Turkey. They were already placed in quarantine and after they were found to be COVID-19 positive they were transferred to Eden Rehabilitation Center.
