FMs of Greece and Spain to hold separate talks with their Cypriot counterpart in Nicosia on Thursday

The Foreign Ministers of Greece and Spain, Nikos Dendias and Arancha González Laya, respectively, will pay working visits on Wednesday to Cyprus, during which they will hold separate talks with their Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides, focusing among others on EU-Turkey relations, in view of Ankara’s Turkish provocations in the Eastern Mediterranean.
 
A press release issued by the Foreign Ministry said that Christodoulides will have in the morning a private meeting with the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, after which expanded deliberations will take place, with the participation of delegations of the two counties’ ministries.
 
During the talks, bilateral relations between Cyprus and Spain will be reviewed and concrete ways to further enhance them will be examined, while the two sides will also discuss developments
