Greek-Turkish leaders agree to start talks, NATO Secretary-General announces - Athens denies statement

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced on Thursday that Greece and Turkey would hold technical talks “for military de-confliction” in the Eastern Mediterranean. Diplomatic sources from the Greek capital denied, however, the statement.
 
“Following my discussions with Greek and Turkish leaders, the two Allies have agreed to enter into technical talks at NATO to establish mechanisms for military de-confliction to reduce the risk of incidents and accidents in the Eastern Mediterranean” Jens Stoltenberg announced.
