President says MED7 an opportunity to assess developments in view of next EU Council
President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades thanked on Thursday French President Emmanuel Macron for hosting the Summit of the 7 EU countries of the Mediterranean MED7 saying that they will assess developments in view of the European Council in late September.
"Thank you my dear friend @EmmanuelMacron for hosting the 7th #MED7 Summit. A timely opportunity is given to us to assess all the new developments, bearing in mind the current situation in the EU & in our region, and reflect on our steps, especially in view of the next @EUCouncil", the President wrote in his twitter account.
