Stano: EU member states are watching, evaluating and will be taking appropriate decisions on Turkey

European Commission and EEAS Spokesman Peter Stano has told CNA that EU member states are “watching, evaluating and will be taking appropriate decisions” on Turkey, following recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, including a new naval exercise with live fire, south of the Greek island of Skyros. Furthermore he explained that an EU statement on Tuesday evening on Varosha stands. Earlier yesterday HRVP Borrell alluded to a potential second statement by the EU27 being issued today.
