Police report 53 citizens and 6 premises' owners for violations of COVID-19 measures
Cyprus Police reported 53 citizens and 6 premises` owners in checks for violations of measures aiming to contain spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
A Police press officer told CNA that a total of 1,615 checks were conducted the last 24 hours island-wide, with the majority of violations associated with the no use of protective mask in public spaces.
In Nicosia the Police carried out 261 checks and 18 citizens and 1 premise owner were reported.
