British High Commissioner and National Guard Commander discuss ways to enhance cooperation
Developments in South-eastern Mediterranean were examined during a meeting on Friday between Lt. Gen. Dimokritos Zervakis and British High Commissioner, Stephen Lillie.
The National Guard General Staff said in a statement that issues of common interest as well as enhancing cooperation with joint exercises held between the armed forces of the two countries were further discussed.
The significance of the Republic of Cyprus as a factor of stability and security in the wider region was also underlined.
