Greece and Cyprus Tourism Ministers discuss with travel agencies proposals to restart tourism

Greek Tourism Minister Harris Theoharis and Cyprus Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios held a teleconference with representatives of the travel agencies in Greece and Cyprus, to discuss proposals on joint actions for the recommencement of travel between the two countries.

President of the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Tourist and Travel Agencies (FedHATTA) Lyssandros Tsilidis, President of the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (ΗΑΤΤΑ) Nikolaos Kelaiditis, and President of the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA) Vassilis Stamataris, attended the teleconference and tabled specific proposals to resume tourism between the two countries.

The travel agencies’ representatives analysed a proposal for the creation of specific travel packages and incentives for tourists to travel from Greece to Cyprus, and vice versa.
