Borrell briefed by Defence Minister on Turkish provocations, flew over Cyprus' EEZ

High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the Commission Josep Borrell was briefed on Friday by Defence Minister Savvas Angelides on the Turkish provocations in the region and flew over Cyprus` exclusive economic zone (EEZ) by helicopter to observe the situation. Borrell paid Cyprus a two-day visit which concluded today. Yesterday he had talks with Foreign Minister Nicos Christodoulides and was received by President Nicos Anastasiades.
