Letter to Spehar to highlight UN stance over crossings, says Government Spokesman

Speaking to CNA, Koushos said that the letter will make reference to particular events that have taken place and will note the fact that “keeping equal distances in relation to the operation of crossing points is not what was logically expected on the part of the United Nations.”

He also said that a call by the United Nations for more cooperation between the two sides could be interpreted as an effort to put on an equal footing the legitimate government of the Republic of Cyprus and the illegal entity
