Presidential Commissioner and Turkish occupied communities discuss promoting Cyprus issue abroad
Presidential Commissioner Photis Photiou assured on Monday members of the Committee of Occupied Communities of the government’s long-lasting support to refugees and the Turkish occupied communities. During a meeting it was decided to prepare editions promoting the Cyprus issue and the destruction of Cyprus` religious and cultural heritage abroad.
During the meeting, a presidency press release says, ways to promote abroad the Cyprus problem and the destruction of Cyprus’ religious and cultural heritage in the Turkish occupied areas were discussed and it was decided to prepare several issues and audiovisual material in various languages which will be made available to decision making centres abroad such as the US, the UK and France, by Cyprus embassies and organisations of Cypriots abroad.
