Cyprus stands in full solidarity with Lebanon and will continue to render emergency assistance with all available means, said the President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades.
President Anastasiades signed on Friday the Book of Condolences for the devastating explosion in Lebanon, opened by the Embassy of Lebanon in Cyprus. According to an announcement by the Presidency of the Republic, in his message, the President wrote that “it is with deep sorrow that I am conveying our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Government and the people of Lebanon for the devastating explosion at the port of Beirut on August 4, 2020.
