Turkish research vessel 'Oruc Reis' heads southeast after leaving Cyprus' EEZ, source tells CNΑ
Turkish research vessel, “Oruc Reis”, is heading southwest a source of the Cypriot Defence Ministry told the Cyprus News Agency at midday on Thursday.
According to the same source, the vessel had entered the Cypriot Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the morning, but then exited it and moved southwest between the Cypriot EEZ and the Greek continental shelf.
“Oruc Reis” left on Wednesday evening an area that falls within the Greek continental shelf and entered the Turkish continental shelf, a military source told CNA.
