EU to use all its tools including sanctions against Turkey, says French State Secretary for European Affairs (REPEAT)

The EU must be ready to activate all its tools including sanctions against Turkey, in response to Ankara’s provocations in the Eastern Mediterranean, French State Secretary for European Affairs Clément Beaune said.
 
In statements after a meeting with Cyprus Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides, and speaking through an interpreter, Βeaune reiterated his country`s full solidarity with Cyprus and the absolute convergence of views in the talks he had with Christodoulides.

He said that the Turkish provocations were unacceptable and that Europe`s solidarity should be demonstrated at the forthcoming European Council.
