Cyprus President congratulates Adamou over his election as House President
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades has congratulated Adamos Adamou over his election as the new President of the House of Representatives.
A press release issued by the Presidency said that “Adamou’s election as the new House President constitutes the culmination of his honorable and important contribution to the public life of our country and of a valued scientific professional career.”
It is also noted that “the President of the Republic wishes the new House President every success in the difficult task he is undertaking and expresses certainty that they will have a sound cooperation with a view, among others, to promote the necessary reforms which the country and the society need.
