British PM epxresses 'support” for Cyprus position in call with President Anastasiades
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed his support for Cyprus’ position with regard to tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean in a telephone call on Tuesday, according to a statement by 10 Downing Street.
Mr Johnson “offered the UK’s help to de-escalate the situation and reduce tensions."
President Anastasiades updated Johnson on the latest developments on the Cyprus settlement and the British Prime Minister urged for a resumption of Cyprus settlement talks.
