Six countries participate in multinational exercise NEMESIS 2020 in Cyprus EEZ [VIDEO]
Vessels and aircraft from six countries, Cyprus, Greece, France, UK, USA and Italy, participated in the multinational exercise called NEMESIS 2020 that took place on Wednesday in blocks 1 and 2 in Cyprus` Exclusive Economic Zone.
The exercise took place under the general coordination of the Joint Rescue Coordination Center of Cyprus in cooperation with the Deputy Ministry of Shipping, the National Guard, the Cyprus Police and the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research.
A press release by the Ministry of Defence says that a total of 22 vessels and 10 aircraft from Cyprus, France, Greece, the United Kingdom, the United States and Italy, as well as six privately owned vessels participated in the exercise that was carried out for the 7th consecutive year in the framework of the preparation of all government services involved in the implementation of the ene
